The Band is recording the remainder of its album at Dallas’ own Valve Studios (valvestudios.net).  We are looking forward to completing the recordings and having our album ready by this Fall.  Our thanks to Casey and Nick for a great job on the recordings.

Texas Renegade Radio Show on KNON Radio

Our First Two Songs Are Being Played

Bill’s Records July 25 Appearance Is Still Strong on YouTube

News

We recently completed our first two songs for our album.  They debuted Monday, March 15, 2010, on Dallas’ KNON Radio, 89.3MHz, in the Texas Renegade Radio Show Program starting at 4 PM.  The songs have also been released to iTunes, Napster, Zune, and other digital download providers.   Keep checking for them, because some providers, like iTunes, may take longer to list them.

The songs are about Dallas’ famous White Rock Lake ghost, the Lady of the Lake.  They offer a unique first-person perspective on the ghost story because the ghost is telling the story.  “I Just Want To Go Home” was written by Phil Boyd, and “Kind Stranger” was written by Pam Gray.  The songs are now available together on CDs as an option to purchasing them through online media providers.  We hope to have a limited number of copies available at our performances.

The songs were recorded and mixed at Dallas’ Phoenix Drive Audio.  Their expert knowledge and work is greatly appreciated!

We Still Have Tee Shirts and Publicity Photos

We have tee shirts with our band logo on the front.  The words, Bluegrass Music with a Twist, are printed on the back.  These shirts are very cool, and look great on anyone.  See us at a performance to snag one and become one of our growing Hound Dog Pack.  Also, we have several different publicity photo prints that we are giving out at performances.  Surprisingly we have had several requests for autographs.
